Mixed feelings about this place
disorganized check-in mediocre food
I stayed here for three nights and some things really bothered me. The check-in process felt disorganized. The staff didn't seem to communicate effectively and this made getting settled in more difficult than it needed to be. The food at the buffet was mediocre and lacked variety. It often reminded me of a scramble to find something appealing. There was even ONE day when I tried the Italian restaurant and the service was slow, with staff seeming inattentive and disinterested.

Wonderful Island Getaway
bay location amazing facilities nice buffet friendly staff
I loved the hotel's location facing the bay. Every side had a beautiful view. The facilities were amazing and the breakfast and dinner buffets were NICE. The staff was very friendly also.
The pool closed SO early, leaving minimal nighttime activities.

The staff ensured smooth boat transfers to the island. Concierge services were readily available near the main lobby. Staff members were always attentive and polite.

The resort is on its OWN little island. Access to the mainland is only via the hotel's boat service. The views from the island were amazing.

Really good Stay
beautiful grounds marble interior
The hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept. The breakfast buffet offered an ideal variety of both Western and Asian cuisine. I found the marble interiors, statues, and fountains added to the luxurious atmosphere. I also appreciated the extensive gardens with trees.

The hotel features both indoor and outdoor pools, as well as a private beach area. I saw that the indoor pool included a sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi for relaxation. There is also a well-equipped gym available for guest use.

My room was clean and of a good size with a balcony. I had a great view overlooking the swimming pools and the bay toward the World Heritage Site. The room decor contributed to a luxurious and comfortable environment.

The staff provided excellent service throughout my stay. I appreciated the attentiveness. I found the reception staff spoke English fluently, which eased communication. They accommodated requests promptly and with a smile.
